Our dream took a huge step forward on May 31 and June 1 with the Pratishtha of our new temple. We need to keep building toward the full vision with a Pathshala, Dining Hall, and Auditorium, all done responsibly, transparently, and with unity at the heart of every decision.
Savita Jain has been a long-time and deeply engaged member of JSMW, contributing to countless initiatives over the years.

• MJK choreography and cultural guidance
• Volunteering during Ayambil Oli and Paryushan
• Co-lead for the first New Temple Gala

• Managing Public Relations efforts for JAINA
• Leading Diwali on the Hill on behalf of JAINA
• Representing Jains and JAINA at the Embassy of India and other government events
• Master of Ceremonies for the past three JAINA Conventions
• Committee Co-chair and member of PR and Marketing for the JAINA Convention
• Lead for the Maharajsaheb Teaching Series
Savita also serves as Co-Chair of the Akshaya Patra DC Chapter, a role that reflects her strong commitment to Anukampa, compassion, and community service.
Savita Jain is a multi-talented community leader who has dedicated countless hours to volunteer service locally, nationally, and internationally. Nationally, she serves as the Director of Public Relations and Media for the Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA), representing more than 150,000 Jains across the continent. She has hosted major international religious and nonprofit events, including the JAINA 2021 International Convention.
Savita is also deeply active in the broader Indian community, where she regularly hosts cultural programs, teaches Indian traditions through dance and music, and shares Jain values through her classes. Her melodious voice has won hearts nationwide, and her presence has become a familiar, beloved part of community events.
Savita and her husband Rahul co-chair the Akshaya Patra DC/MD/VA Chapter, supporting a cause close to their Jain values of Anukampa and compassion.
She lives in Clarksville, MD with her husband and two children. Beyond her community involvement, Savita is an anchor, dancer, choreographer, motivational speaker, and a seven-time gold medalist from Amravati University. She also holds a Visharad in Hindi.
And because she has a solid sense of humor, her husband affectionately calls her the “Marvelous Mrs. Jain,” inspired by the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Fun fact: Savita coined the phrase “Dreams to Reality” during the New Temple Gala, and it has stuck ever since.
